With 64 days til Mardi Gras, I'm starting to get excited y'all!
and to make it even more exciting...
The Krewe of Bacchus has just named my beloved Drew Brees as King Bacchus XLII. he will be joining the list of Bacchus Kings that includes Hulk Hogan. Elijah Wood, Larry King, Dick Clark, Charlton Heston, and Bob Hope.

I just found your blog, and I am obsessed! Hopefully I can make it out there for Mardi Gras again this year but if not, I'll be there in 2011. Can't wait to spend 3 months out there doing ethnographic research on Mardi Gras...who knew you could get college credit for something like that?!
I would love to be down in New Orleans for Mardi Gras some day.
And I love your boy Drew... so don't be mad. But is there any way you could ask him to get a haircut?? I think he looks cuter with short hair. But I still love him.
