Happy Birthday Bruce Bruce!

Today my dearest daddy is the big 6-0!

I know I've rambled on and on about all the work I did on the slide show, and I'd love to say it was a huge hit at the party. Unfortunately, only a few guests got to see it before the bad weather shorted the power and my computer went ka-put.

So since I was smart enough to put all the photos on a flash drive, I threw together another slide show so we can all marvel at the life of the man I affectionately call Bruce Bruce.

If you're wondering what brought these along, I'm still working on the slideshow for DSSSP. Tonight I scanned and edited about 60+ photos. You'd think I'd be on image overload, but I'm really enjoying going through all these old photos. I'm getting to see a side of my dad that I've never really known. I'm even seeing bits of Michael & myself in his features. I don't quite know how to describe it all, but it makes me feel a bit mushy and sentimental to see all the pieces of him come together in one place.

I'm beyond excited that I have today off from work. And while I hope to catch up on some posting, I'll be spending most of the day helping my mum help plan a surpise 60th Birthday Party for my daddy. I'm currently working on a slide show for the party and I thought I'd share a few of my favorites...
